Can you help?

My elder brother, Colin Sutton, now aged 87 was an early member of the club and owned a 1935 red Austin 10 Litchfield reg CPJ 482 for 32 years until he sold it in the 1990’s. Now he’s getting nostalgic and has asked me to try and find out who currently owns the car. All he wants to do is make contact with the owner to have a chat about it. Nothing more than that but he tells me that it “would make his day”.

Is there any chance that the owner could make contact with me and I will pass you on to my brother.

The car is currently taxed until September 2026 according to the DVLA database. So someone is out there enjoying it! On the Club database also but not linked to any club member.

Do you use facebook? There is an Austin Ten Owners group on there. Sad to say it gets more traffic than this site. Would you like me tp post a request there and let you know if there is a contact?

That’s very kind of you and yes please post a request on the Facebook group as you suggest. My brother loved his car but sold it when he moved to Cornwall in the 90’s
