Hey Daren, lots of questions (not surprising if you have a basket case). Don't know what part of the world you are in, but my two cents worth would be:
a) join the Austin Ten drivers Club which gives you more opportunities to ask questions and (get the specific answers you're looking for) on the members-only forum than this public forum does.
b) go along to your local ATDC branch if you are in the UK and have a look at the vehicles/ask members, there are some real A10 experts out there who pretty much eat , sleep and breathe A10s

Hi Daren,
you will need to register separately.
Start at https://www.austintendriversclub.com/

Once registered you will have access to Austin 10 information pages for tackling most jobs, plus of course the forum, shop and spares departments.

There a number of club publications which will help, including one which is specific to the Austin 12 but a lot of the information is also applicable to the 10.

I would also recommend the Technical Reprints Volumes 1 and 2.

See what you think of the online pages then decide if you also want the books.

The most widely available book is Pitman's Book of the Austin 10 edited by Staton Abbey which is a handbook for the driver and includes stuff on routine servicing and maintenance within the capabilities of the average owner. It was published well into the 1950s and broadly covers all Austin 10 models

How about a meetup somewhere in the middle, say Ringmer, I am retired so can meet anytime, but you may be working. You could of course come to me at Hailsham... Up to you!
