Banjo Union

Post by gerryhowe » Sun Aug 10, 2025 6:02 pm

I need to find a replacement banjo union for a Zenith 30VM carburettor. Can anyone help or point me to a possible source?
Thank you.

Do you need just the bolt or the banjo itself?
The banjo is soldered to the top end of the copper pipe that feeds up from the fuel pump to the carb. If you do not have one with your car or carb then Club Spares may have a used one in their stock of S/H parts. But if they do it will likely be attached to a length of copper tube which will make posting it to you difficult. There is an open day at the Club site on 13th September.
The banjo bolt is available new from Club Spares and comes in two sizes. "Short" (in fact standard) size listed as #318 and "Long" listed as #308. The long version is only required if the carb thread is worn and been drilled out deeper and a longer thread fitted. Fibre washer to make the seal is #319. See Parts department / Spares link on this website.
